Monster truck fans can enjoy great family fun and affordable entertainment when the 11th annual Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash and Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Saturday.

A Buck A Truck
Kids who come out to The Dirt Track at Charlotte can watch an evening full of monster truck madness for just a buck a truck. Ten high-flying machines are scheduled to battle it out Saturday and tickets are only $10 for children. The trucks expected to compete in head-to-head challenges are Avenger, Backdraft, Brutus, Equalizer, Hot Tamale, Mopar Magic, Raminator, Stone Crusher, Tailgator and War Wizard.

Metal-Mashing Mega Machines
High-flying, metal-mashing, mega machines are set to invade The Dirt Track for a spectacular thrill show. Monster trucks, the most unique vehicles in motorsports, are typically 11-feet tall and tip the scales at nearly five tons. Their custom-built, fuel-injected engines produce nearly 2,000 horsepower and the massive machines can jump 110 to 115 feet-a distance greater than 14 cars lined up side-by-side.

World's Largest Monster Truck Course
An evening filled with car-crushing destruction will take place on one of the world's longest monster truck courses, and feature eight jumps with one colossal jump being the granddaddy of them all. The monster trucks will compete in an insane freestyle competition, in addition to battling in a series of one-on-one elimination races over a radical obstacle course.

Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party
Monster truck festivities will begin with the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party from 4-6 p.m., featuring an autograph session, meet and greet with the monster truck and FASTRAK Late Model Series drivers and photo opportunities with the enormous racing machines. Fans will also have the opportunity to take a thrilling ride in the back of a monster truck, as the Stone Crusher ride-a-long truck will be offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience for just $5 per person. Ticket holders can gain entry to the Pit Party by presenting a Thirst Buster cup purchased from any Circle K store at the gate. As an added bonus, the first 1,000 attendees will receive a free commemorative monster truck poster that can be utilized for driver autographs.

Scouts to Sleep Under the Stars at Charlotte Motor Speedway
More than 800 area Scouts and leaders will enjoy an evening of monster truck racing followed by a night of sleeping under the stars in Charlotte Motor Speedway's infield during the fourth annual Monster Truck Scout Camporee. The sleepover package includes a ticket to the monster truck event, a camp-out in the Charlotte Motor Speedway infield, a commemorative sleepover patch and a light breakfast Sunday morning. Tickets for the sleepover package are $15 for children ages 12 and under and $22 for adults.

FASTRAK Late Model Series to Run Feature During Monster Truck Bash
The FASTRAK Late Model Series will add extra excitement to an already action-packed evening when they race the FASTRAK Triple Crown, a 30-lap, $2,000-to-win feature in conjunction with the Monster Truck Bash. The FASTRAK main feature will follow the monster truck freestyle event at approximately 9:45 p.m. More than 40 FASTRAK Late Model Series drivers are expected to compete on the lightning-fast, four-tenths-mile oval, including Dennis "Rambo" Franklin, Ron "The Bull" Parker, Timbo Magnum, Royce Bray and David Smith.
