At the 21st Annual Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out, fans can do more than just get day-after-Thanksgiving deals on NASCAR merchandise. Charlotte Motor Speedway will offer the gift of speed by allowing fans to drive their personal vehicles around the legendary 1.5-mile superspeedway in the tire tracks of NASCAR's finest.

Shoppers who spend at least $50 on merchandise or tickets, or donate $40 to Speedway Children's Charities during the event, will be allowed to drive their personal vehicle for three laps around the track on Friday, Nov. 29.

Larry Byrns, of Hastings, N.Y., will make his third trip to the Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out this Black Friday. He enjoys the deals, meeting vendors and of course, driving his personal vehicle around the 24-degree banking of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

"There is an entire level of appreciation that you reach when you're able to pilot your own car around the track," Byrns said. "I would say the best part of the hot laps, aside from the building anticipation while sitting on pit road, was coming out of Turn 4 into the dog-leg straightaway and feeling the transition of the banking in the turn, almost feeling like the bottom of the car was dropping from beneath you."

For every $10 shoppers spend at the ticket office, gift shop, or souvenir haulers, they will receive a sticker to be placed on a ride card. Once five stickers have been affixed, the card can be redeemed for a ride voucher. Vouchers must be redeemed at Gate 4.

Once obtaining the ride voucher, fans will proceed to Gate 1 and enter the track through the Turn 4 tunnel. Cars will be guided onto pit road and assembled into groups. Once assembled, they will make their way down pit road and onto the track for three laps behind one of the track's Toyota pace cars. Rides will take place during event hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Black Friday sale provides fans the chance to shop at more than a dozen NASCAR souvenir rigs featuring merchandise from top NASCAR drivers including Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick, Brad Keselowski and more.

Merchandise will be offered at incredibly low prices with some items starting at just $1. The speedway gift shop will have select items on sale.

All the amazing deals could be a little overwhelming for first-time shoppers, but Byrns has some words of advice.

"Make sure you take the time to check out all of the vendors and see what they have to offer," Byrns said. "And if for whatever reason you're unable to fill up your punch card, it's more than worth it to donate the $40 to Speedway Children's Charities to be able to take the hot laps."

In addition to the souvenir trailers, the Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket office will be open throughout the event, offering shoppers the perfect gift for that race fan on their holiday shopping list. Fans who buy $200 in gift cards, tickets, camping or pit passes will receive a $50 gift card free. Other ticket deals include: buy four frontstretch tickets to a NASCAR Sprint Cup event and receive four free pole night tickets, buy one pit pass and get the second at half price, buy four Saturday or Sunday NHRA tickets and get two Friday tickets free, and buy four Coca-Cola 600 or Bank of America 500 tickets in Club Seating and keep your FanVision Device.
