Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash

The most unique vehicles in motorsports return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 10 for the 14th Annual Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash. Monster Trucks are typically 11-feet tall and weigh nearly five tons. Their custom-built, fuel injected engines produce between 1,500 and 2,000 horsepower. Powerful giants such as Equalizer, War Wizard, Brutus and Avenger have competed in head-to-head challenges on a radical obstacle course at The Dirt Track.

Located just off Bruton Smith Boulevard (1-85, exit 49), the Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort offers premium RV camping just a short walk from Charlotte Motor Speedway, zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track. This campground is available for each event held at these tracks and is also available for daily RV camping year-round! These campsites feature electric, water and sewer hookups, picnic table, gravel pads, asphalt roads and WiFi access at the check-in cabin. A modern restroom/shower facility and large covered pavilion for club gatherings/special events are also onsite. Two (2) spot sizes are available: 20'x 50' and 30'x 50'. During Food Lion AutoFair weekends, standard RVs and tents are welcome. |

Just drive to the Speedway and your RV will be waiting for you and your guests. Rental units are 30 foot single slide travel trailers that include:
- Front Queen Bed w/Overhead storage
- Rear Bunkhouse w/Bunk Beds
- Center Wardrobe closet
- Dinette w/Hinged Bunk Above
- Center bathroom with Tub, Sink and medicine cabinet
- Refrigerator with freezer; 3 Burner Range; Microwave; Double Kitchen Sink

- 26” Flat Screen TV that swivels between center room and front bedroom

Tours and Upgrades
Race fans have an opportunity to experience motorsports like never before! A variety of tours with many different levels of involvement are offered. Fans can choose from convenient daily tours or special NASCAR race-time tours, all of which are officially endorsed by Charlotte Motor Speedway. Tours offered during NASCAR event time include the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Race Shop Tours, while daily tours include the Feel the Thrill and Over the Wall Tours.

Our “refueled” Feel the Thrill Tour offers fans a close-up look at areas that are off-limits on race days. You will see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Garage, navigate through two infield race tracks, make your way down Pit Road and take a picture in Victory Circle. Learn the history of Charlotte Motor Speedway while enjoying a comfortable van ride around the Superspeedway where you will feel the full-tilt force of the 24-degree banking. Plus, visit zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte on this exciting tour!

In addition to a detailed visit to the zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte, you will have a walking tour through The Speedway Club and visit one of our 113 suites, Performance Racing Network (PRN) studios, and experience the breathtaking view of Charlotte Motor Speedway from the top of the Ford Grandstand. Later you will cruise down pit road and experience first-hand the feel of the 24 degree banking. Tour the Media Center and take a walk down memory lane as you view timeless photos of CMS history. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity today by reserving your seat in advance or visiting the Tour Desk on the second floor of Smith Tower.
