World of Outlaws
The third-annual World of Outlaws World Finals is scheduled for Nov. 5 - 7 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. The three-day event brings together dirt track racing's two premier divisions - the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series - to end their seasons and crown their champions.
Attention, all fans and participants planning to travel through Western North Carolina on I-40. Due to a rockslide that occurred at mile marker 2.6 in North Carolina, near the Tennessee state line, on Oct. 25, Interstate 40 is closed from mile marker 451 in Tennessee to mile marker 20 in North Carolina. Camping Options
November 5-7, 2009
The Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort has sold out for the World of Outlaws World Finals! However, camping spaces are still available in the Klondike Ice Cream Family Campground (formerly known as Country Crock Campground). The Klondike Campground offers standard, no-hookup camping and is located a short walk from The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. A bath house and portable restrooms are located throughout the campground.
