Official Rules

1. SPONSOR: Charlotte Motor Speedway, LLC, PO Box 600 Concord, NC 28026 (?Sponsor?) sponsors this sweepstakes to award one lucky fan the experience of riding in a vehicle around the track of Lowe?s Motor Speedway with NASCAR Cup Series driver Dale Jarrett prior to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on Saturday, May 17, 2008 (the ?Dale Jarrett Ride Along? or the ?Sweepstakes?).

2. WHO CAN ENTER? The Sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S residents 21 years of age or older. Employees of Speedway Motorsports, Inc. and the United Parcel Service, Inc. or any of their respective affiliate companies, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, agents, retailers, subsidiaries, sales representatives and/or distributors and their immediate families, (parents, children, spouse, siblings) and those living in the same household (whether related or not) as such individuals are not eligible. Void in Florida, New York, Rhode Island and Puerto Rico and where ever prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary.

3. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All fans purchasing tickets for seats in the Dale Jarrett Fan Club Section of Lowe?s Motor Speedway for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. No purchase is necessary. Fans may also enter by submitting their name, address, telephone number and age on a 3? x 5? card (each, an ?Entry Form?) and mailing to: ?Dale Jarrett Ride Along Contest?, Lowe?s Motor Speedway, Attn: Communications Department, P.O. Box 600, Concord, NC 28026. Limit one entry card per person. Residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island and Puerto Rico are not eligible and attempted entries from these locations will be discarded.

PROMOTION AND SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD BEGINS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19, 2008 and ENDS WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2008 at 11:59 PM EST (the ?Entry Period?). ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 5, 2008 by 11:59 PM (EST).

No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries or mechanically reproduced mail-in entries will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries or mail, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes and award any prize from among eligible entries received as of the time of such action should any virus bug, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor?s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Entrant understands that the information supplied on an Entry Form may be used by Sponsor for marketing purposes.

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATLEY DAMAGE OR TAMPER WITH WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION; AND IF SUCH INDIVIDUAL ENTERS THE SWEEPSTAKES HE/SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFYIED.

4. HOW CONTEST WORKS AND SELECTION OF THE WINNER(S): Within three (3) days of the close of the Entry Period, Sponsor will randomly select a winning entry from all eligible entries received; eligible entries include those automatically entered in connection with a certain ticket purchase and those made by submitting a qualified Entry Form (each such qualified entrant shall be referred to as an ?Entrant?). The random drawing of a winning entry shall be orchestrated by Sponsor as it deems appropriate, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the running of the Sweepstakes and its promotion of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Sponsor is under no obligations, limitations, or restrictions in making its determination on how to conduct the random drawing of a winner. Sponsor?s selection of a winning Entrant is final and binding in all respects. By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Sponsor, in its sole discretion,k shall notify winner of his or her selection.

There is only one winner. The winner of the Dale Jarrett Ride Along will be selected pursuant to a random drawing from the pool of all Entrants.

No obligation to award winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel the Sweepstakes and not award a ride along with Dale Jarrett.

5. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE

Winning Names: The winner of the Dale Jarrett Ride Along will receive a unique fan experience that has valued. There is no reasonable way to accurately measure the dollar value to the winner. The value, however, should not be greater than $200; a tour of Lowe?s Motor Speedway including a lap on the track costs $5; and infield/pit pass during any NASCAR Cup Race costs approximately $100.

Winner is solely responsible for any expenses in connection with his or her attendance at the 2008 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Date of event subject to change. No alternate NASCAR event available but in the event of cancellation of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, Sponsor will award a similar ride along at the rescheduled date of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race if Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines such substitute event is feasible. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any travel delays or travel cancellations. Winners cannot substitute, convert to cash, assign, or transfer prizes except at the sole discretion of SPONSOR.

6. CONTEST NOTIFICATIONS: Winner(s) will be notified by phone or mail.

7. WINNER?S RESPONSIBILITIES: Winner(s) is solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including meals, gratuities, and other incidentals. Winner may be required to submit an executed Affidavit of Compliance/Eligibility & Publicity/Liability Release. Failure to provide such will result in forfeiture of Prize.

Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Winner?s consent to Sponsor?s use of winner?s name, likeness, voice, opinions, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. If guest is a minor, guest?s parent or legal guardian must sign release for guest. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned in a timely fashion after prize notification.

Prize is non-transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a similar prize in the event that the ride along is not practicable in the Sponsor?s sole discretion.

8. RELEASE: By participating, Entrants agree, and by accepting ride along prize, winner agrees, to release and hold harmless Dale Jarrett, the #44 UPS Toyota Camry Team, Michael Waltrip Racing, United Parcel Service, Inc., NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, LLC, Speedway Motorsports, Inc. and all of their respective affiliate and subsidiary companies and their respective agents and subsidiaries, and their officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees of any of the above entities and organizations from any and all liability, loss or damage or injury to person or property incurred by participating in the Sweepstakes and/or the awarding, receipt, acceptance, participation, possession or use/misuse of the ride along prize. By accepting the ride along prize the winner agrees to Sponsor?s use of his/her name and address (city & state), photograph, videotape or likeness for advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to the winner relating to Sweepstakes or Sponsor, and grants to Sponsor any and all rights to said use, without further compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law.

9. WINNERS LIST/RULES REQUESTS: For the name of Dale Jarrett Ride Along winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by July 1, 2008 to: ?Dale Jarrett Ride Along Contest,? For a copy of the official rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by July 1, 2008 to: ?Dale Jarrett Ride Along Contest?, Charlotte Motor Speedway, LLC, Attn: Communications Department, P.O. Box 600 Concord, NC 28026.

10. MODIFICATION: Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, postpone, delay, suspend and/or terminate the Dale Jarrett Ride Along sweepstakes in whole or in part in the event that the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned or as intended by these Official Rules by reason of any of the technical or other disabling causes as described in Rule 3 or other causes that, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, impair, corrupt or interrupt the administration, fairness, security or integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, NASCAR requirements on the day of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, reasons of health and safety, hurricane, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, war, terrorist threat or activity or insurrection.
