Wednesday, PINKS All Out went green at zMAX Dragway in honor of Earth Day. The popular SPEED TV series will return to the Bellagio of drag strips April 23-24.

Cars that hit the track to promote eco-friendly fuels included four Toyota Camry pace cars raced by fans who won a contest on FOX Got Game, four entirely electric cars provided by Li-ion Motors Corp., and several race vehicles powered by BioWeapon Racing Fuel.

Rich Christensen, host of PINKS All Out; Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway and SPEED executives Hunter Nickell and Bob Ecker were on hand to discuss this year's unique format for the competition. Christensen performed his signature "arm drop" starts for the environmentally friendly cars in preparation for PINKS All Out this weekend.

Photos of the day's events can be seen in the zMAX Dragway photo gallery.
