Country music group Diamond Rio will perform the national anthem prior to the CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Busch Series race Saturday night, May 26, at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Diamond Rio burst onto the country music scene in 1991 when its first single, "Meet in the Middle," skyrocketed to No. 1 on the country charts. The group's rich vocal harmonies and glossy picking helped define the "young country" movement of the early 1990s.

Comprised of Marty Roe, Gene Johnson, Brian Prout, Dana Williams, Jimmy Olander and Dan Truman, Diamond Rio is a four-time winner of the Country Music Association's Vocal Group of the Year award and has earned the Academy of Country Music's similar honor twice. Diamond Rio has sold

over 10 million albums and its roster of No. 1 hits includes "Beautiful Mess," "I Believe," "How Love Makes Me Feel" and "One More Day."
