Qualifying: Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, May 26, at 4:05 p.m. (EDT) and the cars will be impounded by NASCAR after qualifying. The better of two laps will determine a driver's official qualifying speed for the CARQUEST Auto Parts 300. Starting positions 1-42 will be determined by qualifying speeds with the top 30 in the NASCAR Busch Series owner standings guaranteed a starting position. The remainder of the 43-car field will be set as outlined by the event's official entry blank.
