Bargains and thrills will be the order of the day Friday, Nov. 23, when Lowe's Motor Speedway hosts the Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out, offering holiday gifts at bargain-basement prices and the opportunity to drive around the legendary "Beast of the Southeast."

The 15th annual day-after-Thanksgiving event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., offers each fan that spends at least $50 on tickets or souvenirs, or donates $25 to Speedway Children's Charities, the chance to drive their personal vehicle three laps around the 1.5 mile superspeedway.

This once-a-year opportunity puts fans in the tire tracks of NASCAR legends such as Richard Petty, David Pearson and Dale Earnhardt.

Tickets for the May 17 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge and the May 25 Coca-Cola 600 are the perfect gift for those with NASCAR fans on their holiday shopping list and the Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office will be open throughout the event.

As a special one-day offer, each ticket purchased for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge or the Coca-Cola 600 will be accompanied by a free ticket ($12 value) for Windstream Pole Night qualifying on Thursday, May 22.

In addition to numerous track souvenirs including "Beast of the Southeast" merchandise, Lowe's Motor Speedway offers a wide selection of driver apparel along with memorabilia from the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup. Non-racing apparel will also be available. Souvenir prices will start at just $1 with T-shirts selling for as little as $3.

NASCAR souvenir rigs will blanket the track's front entrance offering drastically reduced prices on a wide variety of memorabilia, T-shirts, hats, posters and die-cast cars. Nearly 20 vendors featuring merchandise from top NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers, including Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart, are expected.
