The Carolina Showstoppers, a four-man motorcycle stunt team, will bring a two-wheel version of ¿The Fast and Furious¿ to Lowe¿s Motor Speedway Tuesday night, June 17, during round two of the 10th annual Summer Shootout Series.

Based in High Point, N.C., the Carolina Showstoppers will participate in an Extreme Street Bike Showdown, thrilling fans with radical high-speed stunts and bodacious tire-smoking burnouts.

Carolina Showstoppers, founded by Jody Boone, has been performing extreme motorcycle exhibitions across the Southeast since 2000. This will be the group¿s third appearance at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.

The action-packed card also includes a NASCAR Celebrity Grudge Match featuring NASCAR veteran Mike Wallace and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jon Wood. The two will square off in a best two-out-of-three showdown as they trade paint on the frontstretch quarter-mile oval in Winston Cup-style convertibles.

David Hicks of Harrisburg, N.C., and Dyane Coffey of Charlotte, N.C., were the lucky winners selected from among fans in attendance at the June 10 season opener to ride with Wallace and Wood during their Tuesday night battle.

Scheduled to run each Tuesday night through Aug. 12, the Summer Shootout Series also features three classes of Bandolero racing, three divisions of Legends Car action and the extremely popular Thunder Roadsters.
