Wild School Bus Racing Returns Tuesday Night
For the second time this year, wild-and-wacky School Bus racing highlights the Summer Shootout card. The eight-lap race on Lowe¿s Motor Speedway¿s frontstretch quarter-mile oval will feature local radio and television personalities, as well as Lug Nut¿the World¿s Fastest Mascot.
Mr. Bill, the afternoon disc jockey on Charlotte radio station WRFX 99.7 The Fox, hopes to repeat his June 24 performance and post his second School Bus victory of the season. A veteran Summer Shootout Series competitor, Mr. Bill has several years of Legends Car experience as well as victories in two of the three School Bus races last season.
In addition to the School Bus spectacular, a full slate of Legends Car, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing is on tap with more than 170 cars expected to pack the pit area.
