zMAX Dragway will host a Latino festival with musical acts, driver appearances and more to highlight the diversity of the NHRA during Saturday's qualifying rounds at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

zMAX Dragway, in partnership with Norsan Media Group and Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated are organizing the first-of-its-kind event for the Bellagio of drag strips, called Fiesta Latina, to highlight the diversity of the NHRA. The festival will take place in the zMAX Dragway pavilion just to the left of the main entrance on Saturday, April 12 from noon until 5 p.m. and is free to all NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Saturday ticket holders.

"The NHRA has always represented one of the most diverse fan bases as well as participant bases in all of sports," said Christian Byrd, general manager at zMAX Dragway. "We hope this partnership brings new fans to the track, and with the support of our friends at Mello Yello we will build a new generation of drag racing followers."

The Fiesta Latina entertainment lineup includes musical/dance acts Furia Tropical, the David Canals band, Just Brazil, Cipo Cravo Band and Charlotte Capoeira. Fans can also learn more about Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. In addition, fans will be treated to a variety of culturally diverse arts and craft vendors and driver appearances with NHRA's drivers.

Fans on hand for the festival can also enjoy the fastest accelerating machines on the planet blistering the world's only four-lane, all-concrete drag strip in a 40,000 horsepower, nitro-fueled assault on the senses, explore vendor displays and interactive activities in the gigantic Nitro Alley and watch teams tear down their monster machines in the pits between runs. Four lucky fans visiting Fiesta Latina will win the chance to ride in the Mello Yello Express, an open-air vehicle that offers a unique track-side view of the four-wide action, courtesy of Mello Yello.

Weekend passes for all three days of the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals begin at just $99. Single-day tickets start at just $20 on Friday and $40 on Saturday and Sunday. Fans who bring a Mello Yello product will get $8 off single-day tickets. Children 13 and under are admitted for free every day of the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. Every ticket is a pit pass, allowing fans to observe and interact with their favorite drivers and teams, as well as check out Nitro Alley and a midway featuring displays, vendors and a kids' play area.
