On Friday, May 22, all of the on-track action will take place across the street from Charlotte Motor Speedway as the stars of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series take over the 10 Days of NASCAR Thunder for the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

Known for providing The Greatest Show on Dirt, the winged warriors of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will take to the four-tenths-mile clay oval for a 30-lap showdown in the heart of NASCAR country.

"The Dirt Track is a first-class facility and they work extremely hard to give us a racetrack where you can run multiple lines and move around. Being there during the Coca-Cola 600 is always fun, because it's a major race weekend and we get to see a lot of our friends from NASCAR," said Donny Schatz, 2014 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion and driver for Tony Stewart Racing. "They come out and see what we do. It's a tremendous opportunity for us to showcase our team. We've had some success in the May (sprint car) event and it's a great way to kick off a really busy part of our season."

Prior to the show, fans can meet Schatz and all the other drivers from the series, including last year's Outlaw Showdown winner Joey Saldana and Kasey Kahne Racing's Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman during an autograph session on the main concourse. The Autograph session starts at 4:30 p.m. on the concourse. The first 500 fans through the gates at 4 p.m. will receive a free limited-edition commemorative poster.

Opening ceremonies for the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown are scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Following the 30-lap A-Main for the World of Outlaws, the SECA Late Model Series will take to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for their event.

Reserved seats to the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown are just $30 (plus tax) for adults and $10 (plus tax) for children ages 13 and under. For just $15, fans 14 and older can upgrade their ticket to include a pit pass.
