Soon the infield of Charlotte Motor Speedway will be filled with the colors of fall, as more than 2,500 beautifully colored hot rods, classics, muscle cars and more kick off the Goodguys 20th Southeastern Nationals this weekend. Fans will come from all around to see everything this car show has to offer, including Autocross racing, a swap meet and a track cruise.

After three decades of hosting Goodguys events across the country, the organization has racked up some impressive statistics:

600: The number of Goodguys Rod & Custom Association events produced across the country since 1983, including 19 this year;

20: The number of years Charlotte Motor Speedway has hosted the Goodguys Southeastern Nationals;

25 million: The estimated total attendance of all Goodguys events since 1983;

30: The number of states car enthusiasts will represent at this weekend's 20th Goodguys Southeastern Nationals. Fans from as far away as Ontario, Canada have registered for the show;

2.5 million: The cumulative total of hot rods and classic cars (1972 and older) which have attended a Goodguys event since 1983;

$250 million: The estimated revenue generated in local cities (hotel rooms, restaurants, gas stations, markets, etc.) hosting Goodguys events since 1983;

10,000: The number of companies who've exhibited on the midway at Goodguys events since 1983;

75: Number of completed, ready-to-drive-away Giveaway Cars Goodguys has produced since 1983;

30: Number of states Goodguys events have been held in since 1983;

45,000: Number of miles the Goodguys big rig travels annually bringing supplies to events;

79,000: Number of pounds of equipment the Goodguys big rig hauls to each show.

The Goodguys 20th annual Southeastern Nationals is open Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adult tickets are just $18; kids 7-12 get in for only $6.
