Monster truck fans are looking forward to the annual summertime family tradition of the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash and Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party. This year fans will get to experience new elements including ride-alongs in a 16-seat monster truck and a motocross exhibition in addition to family favorites like the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party when the monster trucks return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Saturday.

A Buck A Truck

Kids who come out to The Dirt Track at Charlotte can watch an evening full of monster truck madness for just a buck a truck. Ten high-flying machines are scheduled to battle it out Saturday and tickets are only $10 for children. The trucks expected to compete in head-to-head challenges are Equalizer, Samson, War Wizard, Brutus, Hot Tamale, Avenger, Mopar Magic, Stone Crusher, Higher Education and Circle K ThirstBuster.

Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party

Monster truck festivities will begin with the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party from 4-6 p.m., featuring an autograph session, meet and greet with the monster truck drivers and photo opportunities with the enormous racing machines. Ticket holders can gain entry to the Pit Party by presenting a Thirst Buster cup purchased from any Circle K store at the gate. As an added bonus, the first 1,000 attendees will receive a free commemorative monster truck poster that can be utilized for driver autographs.

Ride-along Truck

Fans can experience what the drivers do with the opportunity to take monster truck rides in Sergeant Smash during the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party and Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash. Sergeant Smash will have its own mini course taking fans over miniature hills and jumps for just $5 per person. Kids will be sure to get the thrill of a lifetime in the 16-seat ride-along truck that will offer rides from 4 p.m. until the completion of the monster truck show.

Metal-Mashing Mega Machines

Monster trucks, the most unique vehicles in motorsports, are typically 11-feet tall and tip the scales at nearly five tons. Their custom-built, fuel-injected engines produce nearly 2,000 horsepower and the massive machines can jump 110 to 115 feet—a distance greater than 14 cars lined up side-by-side.

Motocross Exhibition

During the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash, the Team FMX freestyle motocross group will take to the air to perform daring stunts on their bikes after the semi-final round of the monster truck eliminations for the fans.

World’s Longest Monster Truck Course

An evening filled with car-crushing destruction will take place on one of the world’s longest monster truck courses, and feature 10 jumps and one colossal 20-foot-tall jump, the granddaddy of them all. The monster trucks will compete in an insane freestyle competition in addition to battling in a series of one-on-one elimination races over the radical obstacle course measuring three-quarters of a mile in length.
