Only two days remain before cars take to the Bellagio of drag strips and three days before history will be made at zMAX Dragway when the NHRA goes four wide during competition for the first time in the sport's 59-year history at the inaugural NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

"First of all, it's going to be exciting," said Antron Brown, driver of the Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster for Don Schumacher Racing. "To go out there with two additional opponents on the start line is just going to raise the game to a totally different level than we have ever experienced. This is going to be a truly spectacular event for NHRA drag racing. It's the only race on the tour like it. This is definitely one that's going to be a part of the history books."

Adding to the excitement of this one-of-a-kind event is zMAX Fan Fest, an 8,000 horsepower festival of speed that will feature a display of nostalgia dragsters, live music, autograph sessions with NHRA's top drivers and more.

Located in the pavilion behind the John Force Grandstand, adjacent to the staging lanes, zMAX Fan Fest is free with the purchase of a ticket to the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

The display will feature more than 10 nostalgia dragsters, including a 1960 Vintage Junior Fuel Front Engine Dragster, an original 1933 Ford Coupe and a 1978 Corvette Alcohol Funny Car, and will be located in the pavilion throughout the weekend.

In addition to the nostalgia dragsters on display, rock bands will perform live concerts throughout the weekend, NHRA drivers will stop by for autograph sessions and the U.S. Olympic gold medal winning four-man bobsled team will hold a special autograph session on Saturday.

The bobsled team, led by driver, Steve Holcomb, and consisting of pushers Steve Mesler, Justin Olsen and Curt Tomasevicz, will be honored as Grand Marshals for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals on Sunday. The team became instant celebrities after making history as they piloted the Night Train sled to a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia. The victory marks the first time in 62 years the U.S. has won an Olympic gold medal in bobsled competition.
