Receiving a phone call that their child has been involved in an automobile accident is a parent¿s worst nightmare. However, many teenage driving accidents can be avoided with proper training such as that being offered Saturday and Sunday at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.

Xtreme Measures, an Atlanta-based non-profit organization, will host the extensive two-day training session that educates students in proper driving skills and techniques.

After several hours of classroom instruction, teens receive 12 hours of seat time where they navigate extreme situations such as wet-pavement spins and emergency braking. During the driving sessions, each student has an instructor by his or her side at all times.
