Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth and Rick Hendrick are among the NASCAR personalities that are ready to race. Also, Marcus Smith will be taking on all challengers!

Tony Schumacher became the NHRA all-time Top Fuel wins leader Sunday at the inaugural NHRA Nationals at zMax Dragway by racing to his 53rd career victory and moving past NHRA legend and longtime record holder Joe Amato.

Larry Dixon put a temporary hold on Tony Schumacher's recent dominance by racing to the No. 1 qualifying position in Top Fuel Saturday at the NHRA Nationals. Meanwhile, Funny Car icon John Force failed to qualify in his debut at the spectacular zMAX Dragway and the opening race of the Countdown to 1, NHRA's playoffs.

Larry Dixon capped off the first day of qualifying at the Inaugural NHRA Nationals at zMAX Dragway with a booming 3.846 at 310.20 to claim the provisional No. 1 qualifying position in Top Fuel.

Today zMAX Dragway @ Concord will host a gala open house to celebrate the completion of the nation's newest race track. The event is free to the public and will include a variety of games and activities along with tours of the 125-acre facility.

Construction crews poured concrete long into the night Wednesday, as the four-lane, quarter-mile drag strip at zMAX Dragway @ Concord is rapidly taking shape. When the concrete trucks went home Thursday morning, 700 feet of both right-side lanes, including the burnout boxes, were complete.

After months of grading and preparation, last night crews began pouring the 3,000 cubic yards of concrete that will comprise the four-lane, quarter-mile drag strip at zMAX Dragway @ Concord.

After an exhaustive review of 4,365 entries in a naming contest for Charlotte Motor Speedway's new dragway, Speedway Motorsports officials have selected zMAX Dragway @ Concord as the official name for the state-of-the-art facility.
