Charlotte Motor Speedway has revolutionized the family experience at NASCAR events by creating the most family-friendly grandstand in all of motorsports. The brand new Family Seating Section will make its debut during the Dollar General 300 on Oct. 15 and the Bank of America 500 on Oct.16.

Area Scouts are invited to enjoy an evening of Monster Truck racing followed by a night of sleeping under the stars in Charlotte Motor Speedway's infield Saturday, Aug. 14, during the fourth annual Monster Truck Scout Camporee.

The Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout Series continues Tuesday night, July 27, with Mascot Mania and Kids Poster Night. Fur is sure to fly as several area mascots compete in racing's version of "The Fast and the Furriest."

Lug Nut, the official mascot of Charlotte Motor Speedway, Fox Sports mascot Digger the gopher, and SpongeBob SquarePants will all make grand guest appearances through out the Coca-Cola 600 weekend. These special guests will visit the Powerade Play Zone in the Smith Tower south parking lot near the main speedway entrance.
