Earlier in the season, Courtney Force and Erica Enders made history. Enders became the first woman in NHRA history to win in Pro Stock at Chicago, and together they became the first two women to share the winner’s circle at Seattle. They both join an elite sorority of female NHRA winners. Only 11 other women have graced the podium in the top echelons of drag racing.

In addition to the Round Nine Jack in the Box Summer Shootout Series features on Tuesday, five divisions completed feature races originally scheduled for Round Eight.

Tonight, Round Nine of the Jack in the Box Summer Shootout Series will feature Power Wheels racing and First Responders bus racing. In addition, the Legend and Bandolero feature races that were postponed from Round Eight will be run prior to the Round Nine races. Fans who attended last week’s weather-shortened event can bring their tickets stubs for admission on Tuesday. Gates open at 5 p.m. with feature racing at 5:10 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and kids 13 and under get in free.
