Bullet Proof SUV 2011 Food Lion AutoFair Media Preview

Members of the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office fired an AR-15 assault rifle into two SUVs – one bullet proof and one non-bullet proof - on August 23 as a preview to the Food Lion AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Aug. 25-28. The bulletproof SUV was supplied by international armored vehicle company Streit Manufacturing, which has a facility in Charleston, S.C. The company’s products will be on display in the Showcase Garage during the Food Lion AutoFair.
