NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Carl Edwards stopped by Charlotte Motor Speedway to help speedway president and general manager, Marcus Smith, fix the divot in the infield grass he made during his victory celebration after the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. He also helped to demonstrate a 90-foot fall to announce the attempt by world-renowned human cannonball David “The Bullet” Smith to soar 90 feet in the air before the green flag flies on the only Saturday night race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and set a Guinness World Record for the highest recorded human cannonball shot.
