Bounce houses, a petting zoo and a Lego building area are just a few of the family friendly activities available at the Powerade Play Zone during the April 7-10 Food Lion AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Children of all ages can enjoy the free petting zoo featuring cows, lamas and other furry friends, as well as bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist and an array of interactive games. Pony rides will be available for a small fee.

The Powerade Play Zone will also host a Lego building area, in which children will have a chance to construct small-scale Lego race cars and test them on a track with the help of local employees from the nearby Lego Store at Concord Mills Mall.

The Powerade Play Zone will be located in the ARCA garage with the Lego building area located at the Time Warner Cable Media Center, both in the infield. Hours for the Powerade Play Zone are noon to 5:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. The Powerade Play Zone will be closed on Thursday.
