Race fans camping at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be able to enjoy a series of family-oriented feature films free of charge as the track hosts the inaugural ProjectorPeople.com Campground Movie Series prior to the May 21 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge and the May 29 Coca-Cola 600.

Charlotte Motor Speedway offers a wide variety of affordable camping options, and the camping price now includes free admission to each of the three movie sites. The movies will be shown at the Fleetwood RV Camping Resort Pavilion, the Morehead Farms campground and the Country Crock campground.

The Fleetwood RV Camping Resort Pavilion will be equipped with a 240-inch screen while the Morehead Farms and Country Crock campgrounds will each be outfitted with two 80-inch screens provided by ProjectorPeople.com. Campers will also have the opportunity to play EA Sports video games on the life-size screens.

Thursday night, May 19, has been designated Family Movie Night and movies will also be shown Thursday night, May 26, through Saturday night, May 28. A complete schedule will be available at the Fleetwood RV Camping Resort office.

Fans will determine which movies will be shown by voting at www.projectorpeople.com or www.charlottemotorspeedway.com where they can select from a variety of titles such as "Gone in 60 Seconds," "Smokey and the Bandit," "Meet the Fockers," "The Fast and the Furious," "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie" and "The Incredibles."
