Qualifying: One round of qualifying will take place during CTC Pole Night on Thursday, May 26, at 7:10 p.m. The better of two laps will determine positions 1-42 with the top 35 in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series car owner points guaranteed a starting position. The final position in the 43-car field will be filled by the most recent series champion or the next fastest driver in qualifying.
Radio/Television: Performance Racing Network (PRN) will broadcast the Coca-Cola 600 live to its affiliate radio stations beginning with a pre-race show at 4:45 p.m. (EDT). PRN's broadcast can also be heard on XM Satellite Radio channel 144. The FOX Television Network will televise the race live with pre-race coverage beginning at 5 p.m. (EDT).
