Boxing Hall to Announce Inductees Wed.
Officials of the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame will announce the organization's 2007 induction class on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Former World Boxing Association heavyweight champion James "Bonecrusher" Smith is among the induction class and the Magnolia, N.C., native is scheduled to be on hand for the 2 p.m. news conference.
The Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame's 2007 induction class will be honored during a formal banquet on Friday, April 13, at The Speedway Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
"Bonecrusher" Smith and several of his fellow inductees along with current Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame members will be available for interviews and photo opportunities. Charlotte Motor Speedway president and Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame member H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler will be among the speakers.

Members of the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame are recognized in a special display located on the second floor of Smith Tower at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
