Featuring one of the largest collections of NASCAR memorabilia in the eastern United States, the Charlotte Motor Speedway Gift Shop has undergone an extensive renovation just in time for the new NASCAR season.

The renovated gift shop features new paint and carpet, additional display fixtures, improved lighting and a larger stock room. With more display fixtures and wall grids, the gift shop now offers a greater selection of merchandise along with wider aisles for easier shopping.

"The renovated gift shop is for the fans," said H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. "We now have a gift shop that provides fans with more choices for race attire and memorabilia while also making things easier to find. Fans can make one quick stop for all their racing gear and souvenirs."

Fans can choose from a wide selection of NASCAR memorabilia ranging from die-cast collectibles to apparel for the entire family. Featured drivers include 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, NASCAR's most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and seven-time series champion Dale Earnhardt along with Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards and many others.

Located on the second floor of Smith Tower, the Charlotte Motor Speedway Gift Shop is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tours, which include a van ride around the 1.5-mile superspeedway, are available for $5 on non-event days.
