With the NASCAR racing season shifting into high gear, Charlotte Motor Speedway has made it more convenient for race fans to purchase tickets for the track's schedule of May events, including the May 19 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge and the May 27 Coca-Cola 600.

Ticket agents are now on hand to assist race fans from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Fans can purchase tickets during these hours by calling 1-800-455-FANS or in person on the second floor of Charlotte Motor Speedway's Smith Tower. Tickets are also available online 24 hours a day at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.

Tickets for the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge, NASCAR's annual all-star event, on Saturday night, May 19, start at just $29 while tickets for the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race on Sunday evening, May 27, can be purchased for as low as $39.



Charlotte Motor Speedway offers a variety of camping options at affordable prices for the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge and Coca-Cola 600 race weeks. Dry camping sites in the Rock City, Tim Flock, Peninsula, Country Crock and Morehead Farms campgrounds start at $100 per space per NASCAR race week.

For comfort and convenience, shuttle buses provide transportation to and from the various campgrounds to the speedway gates. Shuttle buses also run daily to and from the speedway's modern shower facilities.
