Ron Hornaday wins his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race of the season. This is Ron's 30th victory in 181 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races and his first victory at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Hornaday, who started 7th, took the lead on lap 98 and never slowed down.

Ron Hornaday (No. 33 Camping World Chevrolet):
"I won at Lowe's Motor Speedway, finally! That's hard to believe. We go to Nashville next week where we won last year, so it's good to have some momentum going into that race this time."

A.J Allmendinger (No. 00 Aaron's Toyota):
"Fantastic for the whole team. Crew chief made a great call of two tires on last lap stop and that hooked us up just right. I made a mistake in practice and the team picked me up and got me on the right track. I've made some mistakes and been learning a lot of things this year. The truck felt fine. To get a top-five was great."

Finishing second was A.J Allmendinger, .244 seconds behind the winner. Rounding out the top five were Todd Bodine, Mark Martin and Ted Musgrave in fifth.
