Matt Kenseth grabbed the pole for tonight's NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge with a time of 121.401 seconds during Friday night qualifying. The No. 17 DeWalt Ford team sizzled with an 11.6 second four-tire pit stop to go with his 3-lap run qualifying run. Kenseth will be joined on the front row by last year's All-Star Challenge winner Jimmie Johnson. For the NEXTEL Open, Carl Edwards will be on the pole after turning a lap at 187.487 mph.  Edwards' teammate David Ragan will start on the outside in the race where the top two finishers will move on to the All-Star Challenge. Click for the unofficial NEXTEL Open qualifying results here.

Tonight's activities will also include the Kobalt Crew Chiefs race.  Tickets for all three events start at the low price of $29 and will be on sale at all entry gates at 3 p.m.
