NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race Results

Kasey Kahne has legions of fans, but he's never been so thankful for their support as he was Saturday night following his thrilling victory in the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kahne wasn't even supposed to be in Saturday night's $1 million dash-for-the cash event, but a fan vote got the driver of the no. 9 Budweiser Dodge into the Sprint All-Star Race.

Kahne didn't disappoint those fans and their support with his first career victory in NASCAR's all-star event by holding off top-five finishers Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony Stewart.

"It's awesome," Kahne said. "I can't believe we just won this thing. Thanks to the fans, we got the chance. This is really special. We basically passed every car and worked our way to the front. This gives me and this team a lot of confidence and momentum heading into the Coca-Cola 600 next Sunday night."

Good seats, in various price ranges, are still available for next Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 and include the Salute the Troops Pre-Race Spectacular. Tickets start at $39 and may be obtained by calling 1-800-455-FANS or at the gates. Gates open at noon.
