Bank of America 500 ticket-holders can enhance their race day experience on Oct. 11 with the purchase of a new-and-improved pre-race pit pass or upgrade to VIP access at the Start/Finish Line for driver introductions and the Jessica Simpson pre-race concert.

"With our ongoing Fans First initiative, we constantly strive to give our customers more than what they expect," said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

"The enhancements we've made to our pre-race pit pass program will make pit road more entertaining than ever before, and the driver intros/concert pass will put fans right in front of the stage."

For $100, fans can purchase a pre-race pit pass that allows a self-guided tour on pit road from 2 to 6 p.m. on race day. As an added benefit, several NASCAR Sprint Cup show cars, including Dale Earnhardt Junior's No. 88 and the No. 18 driven by Kyle Busch, will be parked on pit road for photo opportunities.

Plus, two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Randy Lajoie will be on hand to meet fans and explain the nuances of 800-horsepower stock cars. NASCAR crew members will also talk to fans from select pit boxes about going over the wall during a race.

For $150, fans can upgrade to a driver intros/concert pass that will include the pre-race pit pass plus VIP access on the track at the Start/Finish Line where Jessica Simpson will perform a 40-minute pre-race concert starting at 5:50 p.m. followed by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver introductions.

Individual tickets to the Bank of America 500, which start at just $29, must be purchased separately.
