Grammy-nominated and country music award-winning duo Montgomery Gentry will perform a pre-race concert presented by Jim Beam for the 25th running of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, Saturday night, May 16, at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The duo will perform a one-hour afternoon concert in the infield between Turns 1 and 2. Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a ticket to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

The Columbia Nashville recording artists' most recent album, Back When I Knew It All, has produced two back-to-back No. 1 hits. "Roll With Me" marks the duo's fastest rising track to date and is the follow-up to their most recent No. 1 smash "Back When I Knew It All."

Since the release of their 1999 platinum-selling first album, "Tattoos & Scars," the Kentucky born-and-bred duo of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry have released more than 20 charted singles with five of them hitting No. 1.

In addition to gold and platinum albums, CMA and ACM awards and a Grammy nomination the duo has made numerous national television appearances on programs such as Regis & Kelly, The Tonight Show, Access Hollywood and The CBS Early Show.

The appeal of the rowdy, fun-loving and spontaneous pair is simple: what you see is what you get.

"We've never sold out to anybody," said Eddie Montgomery.

"We've always been consistent about choosing songs that deal with the working class, songs people can identify with," explains Troy Gentry.

"We've stayed true to that and we are ready to rock the race fans in Charlotte."

April 2009 will mark the 10-year anniversary of the duo's debut album and to celebrate this landmark Montgomery Gentry will be releasing to radio their brand new single, "One In Every Crowd."

Tickets for the 25th running of the May 16 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race start at just $25 and can be purchased online  or by calling the speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS.
