Tickets Available for DIRT's Charlotte Tripleheader
Hearn, a 2001 Eckerd 100 Advance Auto Parts Modified Super Dirt Series feature winner at The Dirt Track, will be among several competitors doing double duty, as the Turning Stone Casino 358-Modified Super DIRT Series makes its first North Carolina appearance.
The big-block modifieds will time trial on Friday night and then run the remainder of the Eckerd 100 Saturday night, concluding with twin 50-lap features. The 358-modifieds will run their entire program, capped by a 50-lap main event, Friday evening.
The full-bodied stock cars of the DIRT Pro Stock division are also on the card, running heat races on Friday night and culminating with a 20-lap feature Saturday night.
The Eckerd 100 and Charlotte Small-Block Championship will be held in conjunction with the April 3-6 Food Lion AutoFair at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway. The Food Lion AutoFair, the nation¿s largest show of its kind, is spread over four days and attracts more than 100,000 visitors. Included among the attractions are a car show featuring some 40 car clubs, thousands of parts and memorabilia vendors, a collector car auction and unusual automotive attractions. A car corral, located on the 1.5-mile superspeedway, features nearly 1,500 vehicles of all makes and models that are available for sale or trade.
Reserved adult tickets for the Eckerd 100 on Saturday night, April 5, are $18 with children under 12 admitted for $5. Tickets for the Charlotte Small-Block Championship on Friday, April 4, are just $12 for adults with children under 12 admitted for $5. All grandstand seats are $5 more the day of the event.
