First, fireworks light up the sky Tuesday night following round four of the Summer Shootout Series on the frontstretch quarter-mile oval at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway. The celebration continues with the RBC Centura Fireworks Show during the inaugural Snap-On Tools Grassroots Nationals Thursday night at The Dirt Track @ Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.
The Summer Shootout Series includes three classes of Bandolero racing, three divisions of Legends Car action and the Thunder Roadsters. A NASCAR Celebrity Grudge Match featuring Busch Series point leader David Green is also on tap.
Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with preliminary action at 5:25 p.m. Feature racing begins at 7:30 with the Fireworks Extravaganza scheduled for approximately 10 p.m.
Admission to the Summer Shootout is just $5 for adults. Children 6-12 are admitted for $3 with kids under 6 free. Parking is free.
Spectator gates for the Snap-On Tools Grassroots Nationals featuring the RBC Centura Fireworks Show on Thursday night open at 5 p.m. Hot laps for the IMCA modifieds and stock four-cylinders begin at 6:45 p.m. with opening ceremonies at 7:15. The RBC Centura Fireworks Show will follow the Demolition Derby at approximately 10:15 p.m.
If purchased in advance, tickets for the Snap-On Tools Grassroots Nationals are just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. All tickets are $5 more the day of the event. Parking at The Dirt Track is free.
