Competitors: J.J. Yeley, Jay Drake, Tracy Hines, Bud Kaeding, Boston Reid and Cory Kruseman are among the entrants for the USAC sprint car portion of the event. Yeley and Kruseman will drive cars owned by NASCAR Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart. The late model field will include such stars as Mike Duvall, Clint Smith, Jeff Cooke, Mike Head and Ricky Weeks.
Television: SPEED Channel will televise the USAC Sprint Car portion of the Charlotte Dirt Doubleheader Nationals on a tape-delayed basis. The two-hour program is scheduled to air Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10:00 p.m. (EST).
Track History: The Dirt Track @ Charlotte Motor Speedway opened in May of 2000 with a two-day event for the World of Outlaws sprint cars. Sammy Swindell won the preliminary night feature with Mark Kinser topping the final night¿s feature. Construction of the $10 million facility began in October, 1999.
