MINIKISS, one of the most unique musical acts to ever perform at a motorsports venue, will entertain race fans prior to the Jani-King Southern Showdown Friday night, May 28, and Saturday night, May 29, at The Dirt Track @ Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.

MINIKISS¿ performance is part of the two-day racing spectacular that will be highlighted by the late model stock cars of the O¿Reilly Southern All Star Racing Series.

The brainchild of Joey Fatale, a veteran of the ¿little person¿ entertainment industry who is now known as Mini-Gene, MINIKISS was launched five years ago for a Halloween party in New York City. The group, dressed in full KISS attire and make-up, has developed into a high-energy, karaoke-style stage show with fancy faux instruments celebrating ¿little people¿ and the music of rock legend KISS.

MINIKISS has appeared on numerous television shows, including ABC¿s ¿Jimmy Kimmel Live,¿ HBO¿s ¿Inside the NFL¿ and Comedy Central¿s ¿Insomniac with Dave Attel.¿ The group was recently invited to perform as an opening act during several dates on A Perfect Circle¿s U.S. concert tour.

MINIKISS will perform for 45 minutes each night during the Jani-King Southern Showdown beginning at 6:45 p.m.

The event will run in conjunction with the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series event at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.

Adult reserved seats for the Jani-King Southern Showdown are just $18 in advance with tickets for children 12 and under economically priced at just $5. Tickets can be purchased online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-455-FANS.
