Two familiar names in motorsports marketing, Aaron Rents, Inc. and Mopar, have joined the list of corporations sponsoring events during UAW-GM Quality 500 Week Oct. 13-16 at Lowe¿s Motor Speedway.

Aaron¿s Rents, Inc. has signed as the title sponsor of the Lowe¿s Motor Speedway debut of the American Speed Association stock cars. To be run during Bojangles¿ Pole Night on Thursday, Oct. 14, the 99-lap race will be known as the Aaron¿s 99.

Based in Atlanta, Aaron Rents Inc. has over 975 company-operated and franchised stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada for the rental and sale of residential and office furniture, accessories, consumer electronics and household appliances.

Aaron¿s also sponsors the No. 99 ¿Dream Machine¿ driven in the NASCAR Busch Series by Michael Waltrip along with NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and Busch Series races at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.

Mopar will be the title sponsor of the sprint car and late model doubleheader on Wednesday night, Oct. 13, at The Dirt Track @ Lowe¿s Motor Speedway. The Mopar Sprint Car Nationals will feature the traditional sprint cars of the United States Auto Club and the late model stock cars of the Southern All Star Racing Series.

Based in Center Line, Mich., Mopar is the exclusive original equipment supplier of parts and accessories for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.

The company¿s sponsorship of the Mopar Sprint Car Nationals is an extension of its involvement with the USAC sprint car series. It also backs the Mopar Thunder at Ohio¿s Eldora Speedway along with the three cars owned by Tony Stewart and driven by Jay Drake, Cory Kruseman and Josh Wise.

Other UAW-GM Quality 500 Week events are the Lowe¿s presents The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 300 NASCAR Busch Series race on Friday night, Oct. 15, and the UAW-GM Quality 500, round five of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, on Saturday night, Oct. 16.
