Race fans attending Saturday night's UAW-GM Quality 500 will have the first opportunity to purchase the best remaining seats for 2006 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, including the May 20 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge and the May 28 Coca-Cola 600, as part of a special Super Sunday Promotion.

Speedway officials announced today that all remaining tickets for next year's May NASCAR events will go on sale at 9 a.m. Sunday. Fans not at the speedway Sunday can call the toll-free ticket hotline at 1-800-455-FANS.

"With so many race fans in the area for Saturday night's UAW-GM Quality 500, we wanted to make it as convenient as possible for them to get their tickets for next year," said H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. "We'll have free coffee and doughnuts in the ticket office and the absolute best selection of seats at affordable prices."

In addition to the Coca-Cola 600, tickets will also go on sale for the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge, Quaker Steak & Lube 200 Craftsman Truck Series race, CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 Busch Series event and CTC Pole Night.

Super Sunday will also provide race fans who purchased tickets to this week's NASCAR events the opportunity to renew their 2006 tickets with a 10-percent early-bird discount and reserve their seats for the Bank of America 500 on Oct. 14, 2006. As an added convenience to fans staying on property, the speedway will provide shuttle service from campgrounds to the ticket office Sunday morning. Parking lots near the ticket office will be open free-of-charge for fans staying in area hotels.

Ticket renewal orders can also be processed on Super Sunday by calling 1-800-455-FANS or online here.
