Carl Edwards won the CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Busch Series race Saturday evening at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This was Edwards first win at the famed 1.5-mile track. He led a total of 14 of the race's 200 laps.

Edwards averaged 110.735 mph and covered the 300 miles in 2 hours 42 minutes and 32 seconds. There were 10 caution flags for 53 laps during the race and 17 lead changes among 12 drivers.

Rounding out the top five were Kurt Busch, J.J. Yeley, Casey Mears and Martin Truex Jr.
