In honor of Charlotte Motor Speedway's 50 years of racing, fans can now reserve any ticket for the NASCAR Banking 500 Week, NHRA Nationals and the World of Outlaws World Finals for only $19.60 by calling the speedway's ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS.

The significance in $19.60 is from the speedway's maiden year, 1960, which not only marked the first Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but the first fall race as well, when Alfred "Speedy" Thompson drove the No. 21 Wood Brothers Ford to Victory Lane in the inaugural National 400. Now, for only $19.60, fans can reserve their seat for the speedway's 50th fall race, the Oct. 17 NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America.

"The payment plans at Charlotte Motor Speedway are very popular with our fans," said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. "It allows fans the opportunity to pay over the course of several months, where at one time, not long ago, they had to pay it all up front.

"After implementing payment plans a couple years ago, the feedback has been very positive and we're seeing more of them take advantage of the program. It just makes a lot of sense for us to make it as convenient as possible for fans to attend races here at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

"Now, for only $19.60, less than 20 bucks, fans can reserve any seat for all of our spectacular fall events including the NASCAR Banking 500, Dollar General 300, the NHRA Nationals and the World of Outlaws World Finals."

In order to reserve seats for any of these events for only $19.60, fans must call the speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS and speak directly to a Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket agent to set up their customized payment plan.

The fall calendar of events at Charlotte Motor Speedway is unparalleled in the world of motorsports as the sprawling hub of racing hosts two playoff events in September and October before crowning the World of Outlaws' champions in early November.

First up is the second annual NHRA Nationals, Sept. 17-20 at the Bellagio of drag strips, zMAX Dragway, where the NHRA begins their playoffs with the first race in the NHRA Full Throttle Series Countdown to 1.

Once the nitro fumes evaporate, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series takes center stage on Oct. 17 at the legendary 1.5-mile superspeedway for the NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America-the fifth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Finally, the biggest show on dirt visits The Dirt Track @ Charlotte Motor Speedway for the World of Outlaws World Finals, Nov. 5-7, where the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and Late Model Series will crown their respective champions on the four-tenths-mile clay oval.
