With the assistance of professional wrestling great Ric Flair, Charlotte Motor Speedway unveiled a special fight poster previewing “The Backyard Brawl,” NASCAR’s Sprint All-Star Race today and announced that the first 5,000 fans to purchase a ticket to the May 22 race will receive a free limited-edition copy of the print featuring NASCAR’s hottest drivers.

“With $1 million at stake, sparks are going to fly and tempers will flare during the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. “The All-Star Race has featured some of the best on-track battles in the sport’s history.

“The new fight poster highlights some of NASCAR’s star personalities that are sure to play a part in the final laps of this year’s race. It’s a cool collectible for our NASCAR fans.”

The full-color poster features Dale “Wahoo” Jr., vs. Kevin “Baron Von” Harvick in a “bumper bashing beat down,” and Kyle “Rowdy” Busch vs. Tony “Smoke” Stewart in a “transmission submission match.” Of the 5,000 copies of the poster, 100 have been specially autographed by Flair, and will be randomly distributed to lucky fans.

For the second year, the speedway has engaged the 16-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, Flair, to promote the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race through print, radio and television advertising. Special video clips of the spots are available on www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.
