Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge, captured his first pole at Charlotte Motor Speedway during Windstream Pole Night qualifying for the 52nd running of the Coca-Cola 600.

“It would be a cliché to say the car was awesome, but that is what it was," said Keselowski. "It’s an important weekend for us and for Penske Racing and really for our country. Memorial Day weekend is an important time for us. My foundation is doing some really cool things this weekend, too. The 600 is such a big race in NASCAR. It’s a race full of history and tradition."

A.J. Allmendinger will start in the second position, and Carl Edwards will start third.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., subbing for Trevor Bayne, qualified ninth for his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start.
