Grandstand Tickets Sold Out for Tonight's World of Outlaws World Finals; Standing-Room-Only Tickets Now Available at The Dirt Track at Charlotte
For the fifth consecutive year, grandstand tickets for tonight's World of Outlaws World Finals finale are sold out, but Charlotte Motor Speedway officials have announced that a few hundred standing-room-only tickets are now on sale for the 2013 season finale at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and additional seating has been added to the pit area.
Standing-room-only tickets with a special new viewing area outside Turn 4 for tonight's racing action can be purchased for $25. Pit passes are still available for an additional $15 upgrade. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS (3267) or at the gates.
The World Finals is the only event that brings together dirt racing's three premier divisions, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds, for three nights of on-track action, culminating tonight with the crowning of their respective champions.
The world's biggest dirt track racing event has brought a truly international crowd as more than 42,000 fans are expected to enter through the gates and in the pits at the lightning-fast four-tenths-mile clay oval for the three-day event this weekend. Fans from as far away as Australia have joined others from 50 states to witness "The Greatest Show on Dirt."
Full racing programs are on tap for all three divisions tonight, highlighted by $12,000-to-win main events for both the sprint cars and late models and a $8,000-to-win main event for the Big-Block Modifieds.
