Kyle Busch Grabs Pole For NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race
Kyle Busch and the No. 18 M&M's Toyota crew earned the pole for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on May 21. Clint Bowyer will start second and Greg Biffle will start from the third position.
Qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race consists of three laps and a four-tire pit stop.
"We all love this kind of format. The kind of car we had, too, makes my job easier. We unloaded fast. I give all the credit to them and the pit crew for what we did here today," said Busch. "Just able to put together a really, really fast lap and great pit stop. They know they are the best. We had a really fast car. Hopefully, we will have another car like that next week. It’s something different. The guys love it. It’s close to home for a lot of the guys. We get our reports that I am one of the best when getting on pit road, so that really helps. As much as is going on, it makes it fun.”
David Ragan captured the pole for the Sprint Showdown qualifying race.
