NASCAR Hall of Fame Kicks Off Race Week with Special One-Day-Only Savings - All Tickets $10 TODAY
The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Charlotte Motor Speedway will kick off Bank of America 500 race week with a special savings opportunity on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 (10/10/10). All NASCAR Hall of Fame tickets for a visit on 10/10/10 can be purchased for just $10. Guests also can enjoy additional savings with $5 all day parking and a voucher for $10 off any ticket to the Dollar General 300 or Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
“A visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame is a great way for guests to complete their NASCAR experience in Charlotte, and a $10 special for a full day of fun is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of the fall race week,” said Winston Kelley, executive director for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. “We appreciate our partners at Charlotte Motor Speedway offering our guests $10 off a race ticket. Guests enjoying the 50 percent savings on Oct. 10 will discover a highly-interactive environment with fun opportunities for the entire family. In addition, families can enjoy hands-on exhibits, view authentic artifacts and play the roles of NASCAR professionals including practicing a pit stop, walking through a full-size NASCAR Sprint Cup hauler, calling a race and getting behind the wheel of a race car in one of eight iRacing simulators.

2011 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee Voting Day –The NASCAR Hall of Fame voting panel meets to determine and announce the second five inductees. The announcement, scheduled for 4 p.m., is open to the public.
Thursday, Oct. 14
Richard Petty Book Signing – Inaugural Inductee Richard Petty will be signing copies of his audio scrapbook at noon.
Saturday, Oct. 16
Meet the 2011 Inductees – The new class of inductees or their representatives make their first public appearance as a group at 10:15 a.m. in the Great Hall.
Sunday, Oct. 17
Kasey Kahne Appearance – The Kasey Kahne Foundation 5K Charity Run and Kids’ Dash will begin at 8 a.m. at the Bank of America Stadium and finishes at the NASCAR Hall of Fame with a special question-and-answer period at approximately 9:30 a.m. with Kahne in Ceremonial Plaza. Halloween at the Hall – Families can celebrate the howliday weekend with frightfully fun Halloween activities at the Hall. Plus, kids 12 and younger are admitted FREE when dressed in a Halloween costume.

Race Day Experience – Guests can watch the AMP Energy Juice 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on the state-of-the-art screen in the Belk High Octane Theater. Tickets are $5 and include a FREE simulator ride and scanner use. NASCAR Hall of Fame admission not required.
