What: Carolina Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 2.5 mile drive-through light park and Christmas village opening Nov. 22, will hold a casting call for the roles of Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves. Those interested should come in costume, prepared to face questions from a panel of judges.

Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves will be used in the Christmas Village for pictures with Santa and other activities that will take place throughout the 42 operating days.

Carolina Christmas will be one of the largest holiday light shows in the United States, featuring nearly 500 energy-efficient LED (light emitting diode) light displays, a Bethlehem Village and Live Nativity, a Festival of Trees, winter skating rink, Patriotic Alley and themed areas for children with food, music, rides, photos with Santa and a Live Santa Workshop.

When: Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. in The Speedway Club

Parking: Casting call participants should park on either side of the Avenue of Flags at the speedway's main entrance.
