Officials at Charlotte Motor Speedway are unveiling a new contest in conjunction with the upcoming Souvenir and Race Ticket Blowout at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Nov. 25. By following Charlotte Motor Speedway on the popular social media website, Twitter, fans can participate in the contest that will reward six different fans with autographed items.

Six different vouchers will be hidden in the Charlotte Motor Speedway gift shop on the second floor of Smith Tower on the day of the Souvenir and Race Ticket Blowout.  Starting on Monday, Nov. 21, and each day leading up to the Souvenir and Race Ticket Blowout, clues will be tweeted from Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Twitter account about where the vouchers will be hidden inside the gift shop. Any shopper who visits the gift shop during the Race Ticket and Souvenir Blow-Out has a chance to win, but Twitter followers of @CLTMotorSpdwy will have a head start using the clues that were tweeted.  Each voucher coincides with a free autographed item from a NASCAR driver and can be redeemed at the gift shop checkout line.

The Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out returns for the 19th consecutive year and is an after Thanksgiving holiday sale tradition.  Shoppers who spend $50 or more on merchandise or race tickets, or donate $25 to Speedway Children's Charities during the annual day-after-Thanksgiving event, will be allowed to drive their personal vehicle for three laps around the legendary 1.5-mile superspeedway.

During the event, Charlotte Motor Speedway will offer a full line of NASCAR memorabilia and apparel at reduced prices with many items selling for only $1. A wide variety of hats and t-shirts will be available starting at just $3. In addition, more than 15 NASCAR souvenir rigs are expected to be on hand, offering driver and team merchandise at drastically reduced prices. Call 1-800-455-FANS for more information.
