May Race Weeks have arrived at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Speedway Children's Charities is gearing up for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and Coca-Cola 600 with new events and offers.

Scotts Turf Builder Cornhole Classic All-Star Weekend
Race fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a favorite tailgating pastime May 21-22 at Charlotte Motor Speedway as Speedway Children's Charities teams up with the American Cornhole Organization to host the Scotts Turf Builder Cornhole Classic. The social cornhole tournament will be held in conjunction with the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, May 21 at noon and May 22 at 2 p.m. The top three finishing teams will win an NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race prize pack consisting of gift cards, race gear and other great prizes.Registration is just $20 per team. Johnsonville Big Taste Grill
The world's largest touring grill will make a pit stop at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race Weekend May 21-22. Fans can stop by the display lot off Bruton Smith Blvd. and get delicious food while supporting a great cause, as all proceeds from the grill go to Speedway Children's Charities. The gigantic Big Taste Grill weighs in at 53,000 pounds and is 90 feet long.

NASCAR Day Pins
Support Speedway Children's Charities and donate $5 for a NASCAR Day Pin. The pins will be available during NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and Coca-Cola 600 Weekends. Fans can purchase their NASCAR Day Pin at SMI souvenir, Racing Electronics, NASCAR Foundation or Speedway Children's Charities trailers. Turtles Coming to Lake Norman in Support of Speedway Children's Charities
Turtles are invading Lake Norman for the second annual LifeSpan and Speedway Children's Charities Turtle Race on Saturday, June 5. Fans can adopt their plastic turtles early during NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and Coca-Cola 600 Weekends. The turtles will be available for a $5 donation at the Speedway Children's Charities trailer, located on Souvenir Row at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Text-to-Donate Program
Race fans have the opportunity to donate to Speedway Children's Charities through a new Text-to-Donate Program. Text "SPEED" to 20222 on any cell phone between May 21 and June 15 and $10 will automatically be donated to Speedway Children's Charities. A confirmation text will be sent to the cell phone and fans can confirm the donation by replying "yes".

30th Annual AutoTrader.com Speedway Children's Charities Gala The 30th Annual AutoTrader.com Speedway Children's Charities Gala will be held in the newly opened NASCAR Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte on May 26.This year's event will honor 2009 Coca-Cola 600 winner, David Reutimann, and serve as the official kick-off to Coca-Cola 600 Race Week festivities at Charlotte Motor Speedway. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the grant program of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. Gala festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception sponsored by ACN, Inc. The reception will include a silent auction, a photo booth by ShutterBooth and live music from the Rowan Big Band All-Stars, an 18-piece band featuring the style of Glenn Miller. Pieces of NASCAR history will be up for bid during Speedway Children's Charities Live NASCAR Memorabilia Auction on May 29. The auction will be held in Hospitality Village one hour after the TECH-NET Auto Service 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the following items: autographed side panels from Kevin Harvick's No. 29 Shell/Pennzoil Chevrolet and Mark Martin's No. 5 Kellogg's/CARQUEST Chevrolet, and a side panel from Austin Dillon's No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet truck autographed by Richard Childress. Scotts Turf Builder Cornhole Classic Coca-Cola 600 Weekend
Race fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a favorite tailgating pastime May 28-30 at Charlotte Motor Speedway as Speedway Children's Charities teams up with the American Cornhole Organization to host the Scotts Turf Builder Cornhole Classic. The Cornhole Classic will help kick off Coca-Cola 600 Weekend festivities with a 64-team double-elimination tournament starting Friday, May 28 at 3 p.m., and continuing Saturday, May 29 at 10 a.m., with the championship match held Sunday, May 30 at 2 p.m. Registration is $40 per team. Ride of a Lifetime Online Auction
Take a pre-race parade lap around Charlotte Motor Speedway with your favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and help support children in the Charlotte region. Speedway Children's Charities will provide lucky race fans with the opportunity to ride in the parade lap prior to the Coca-Cola 600 on May 30 through an online auction.
