Monster truck fans can get ready for some Saturday night family fun when the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash presented by Polar Pop returns to The Dirt Track at Charlotte this weekend. The evening of monster madness will feature a pre-race pit party, freestyle and one-on-one elimination contests with ten trucks, motocross exhibitions, stunts and more.

Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party

Monster truck festivities will begin with the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party from 4-6 p.m., featuring an autograph session, meet-and-greet with the monster truck drivers and photo opportunities with the enormous racing machines. Ticket holders can gain early entry to the Pit Party by presenting a Polar Pop fountain drink purchased from any Circle K store at the gate. As an added bonus, the first 1,000 attendees will receive a free commemorative monster truck poster that can be utilized for driver autographs.

A Buck A Truck for the Kids

Ten monstrous machines will rampage onto The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash, including last year’s winners Avenger and Hot Tamale, plus veterans Brutus, Equalizer, Samson, Stone Crusher and War Wizard. Making their Dirt Track at Charlotte debut will be Hooked, Spike and Wrecking Crew. Tickets are only $10 for children 13 and under, which is just a buck a truck.

Sergeant Smash Monster Truck Ride-Alongs and POWERADE Play Zone

Kids can experience what the drivers do with the opportunity to take monster truck rides in Sergeant Smash during the Circle K Pre-Race Pit Party and Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash for just $5 per person. Kids will get the thrill of a lifetime in the 16-seat ride-along truck that will offer rides from 4 p.m. until the completion of the monster truck show. Children can also have fun in the POWERADE Play Zone, which will feature bounce houses, interactive games, face painting and more.

Motocross Exhibitions and a Stunt by Super Bob Airborne

In addition to the monster truck mayhem on Saturday, Team FMX, a freestyle motocross group, will perform exhibitions for the fans. They will take to the air to perform treacherous jumps and tricks on their bikes. Stuntman Super Bob Airborne will also be on hand to complete a daring stunt in front of the crowd. He’ll attempt to crash through a motorhome with his special stunt car while pulling a boat behind him.

Scouts to Sleep Under the Stars at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Saturday night, more than 200 area scouts, parents and leaders will enjoy an evening of monster truck racing followed by a camp-out across the street in Charlotte Motor Speedway’s infield during the sixth annual Monster Truck Scout Camporee. Scouts will also get to enjoy a light breakfast Sunday morning and get a commemorative sleepover patch.
